Department of GENERAL SURGERY

The Department of General Surgery is located in the ‘B-Block’ of People’s Hospital, having an indoor capacity of 240 beds with a dedicated and well-equipped Surgical Intensive Care Unit. It has a dedicated and experienced team of faculty members engaged in delivering high quality and comprehensive surgical care to the patients including emergency services. Besides, the department has fully operational specialty clinics of Minimally Invasive Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Uro-surgery, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Surgical Gastro-enterology and Oncosurgery
